Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

Under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), the data controller Dr. Metin Burunkaya processes your personal data as described below.

Data we process

Contact form: name, email and message content.
Booking/payment: appointment details; payments are taken via Shopier and your card details are never seen or stored by us.

Health data is special-category. Please do NOT share symptoms, diagnoses, medication or medical history via the contact form. Such data is processed only through a secure channel and on the basis of your explicit consent.

Purposes and legal basis

Your data is processed to respond to your request and to run appointment and service processes, on the legal bases set out in KVKK Art. 5/6 (and, where required, your explicit consent).

Transfers

Data may be shared, only to the extent the service requires, with providers such as the form backend (e.g. Web3Forms), scheduler (e.g. Cal.com), payment institution (Shopier), video (Google Meet), quick-consultation messaging (WhatsApp) and analytics (Google Analytics). Cross-border transfers follow the relevant provisions of KVKK.

Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

You have the right to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your data. Requests can be sent to turkishonlinedoctor@gmail.com.
